This is my writing/content portfolio, showcasing the articles, newsletters and podcasts I have created over the last few years. Regardless, here are all of the articles I wrote over the last few months during my internship with FloTrack/MileSplit, along with my other pieces of content.
The Lead Pack
The Lead Pack is a weekly newsletter that I write, primarily covering the sport within the state of Kansas, from the amateur to the professional level. I grew up in Kansas, and the covering the track & field/cross country throughout ‘The Sunflower State’ is where my passion for the sport began. Over the last two years, I’ve interviewed some of the state’s best athletes and coaches, including U.S. Olympian Benard Keter.

The BackTrack Podcast
My co-host Matt and I record a podcast that typically goes out weekly during the season. Each episode consists of varying topics, typically recapping meets and major events during the previous week of competition. Over the summer, we brought on weekly guests consisting of both athletes and coaches. You can find it here.
KSXCT&F Social Media Channels
In 2017, after coming to the conclusion that there needed to be more coverage for the sport at the high school level in Kansas, I created an Instagram and Twitter with the sole focus of highlighting athletes and giving them recognition where it’s due.
Over the last few years, I’ve also had the chance to travel and cover the following events in different capacities.
